Dilution Chart for Using Essential Oils

Remember, Essential Oils are concentrated substances. It is important to always dilute them in a carrier prior to use.  The grid below is a guide how to safely dilute them for various uses.

Base/Carrier	1 Tbsp	1 oz	1.5 oz	4 oz	n/a
Bath Oil/Body Oil	6-12 drops
Massage Oil		10-15 drops
Bath Salt			12   drops
Body Lotion	6-12 drops
Steam Diffusion					5-7 drops
Shampoo/Rinse	2-8 drops
Perfume  (Alcohol or Oil)	Up to 45 drops	Up to 90 drops
